get away from here
Most of my officemates have lived here in Las Piñas all their lives. They were born here, raised here, went to school here, got married here, and would probably get buried here when their time comes. (knock knock) Some have never been to Baguio. They would even ask me where Boni Ave is or how Trinoma looks like.

There is a whole continent outside this city to be explored. How is it possible for anyone to be glued to one place their entire life?

I don't know, but it happens. And when you're least expecting it, it may happen to you.

If you feel like exploring, do it now. Don't pinch pennies and save up and wait, you can never tell how much time you have.

However, there are people that feel like they don't need to venture out or explore, they stay where they've always been. Those people aren't less, that's just the way they are.

In a way, I admire their simplicity. But I relate more to you and the characters in Otto's books...I want to see and do something new every day, to keep growing and learning.

Sometimes life short changes you and you don't get the chance. But if you do get the chance, RUN sugar RUN!!

You're so right... Already I feel suffocated here. It's been two years since I moved to Manila to work.

wait, wait you work in las piñas? i thought you work in alabang. i have a close friend in law school, he lives in las piñas. me and some of my friends have been to his house. we walked from the alabang-zapote road to his house in las piñas.

i have never even known las piñas until this year. which is funny because las piñas was an entire different continent for me.

I don't know how that happens too. I know part of me wants to travel at least and thats a good thing right? i think the thing with people is (as they grow older), more responsibilities to hold. which makes it hard to detach sometimes even just for a trip. my parents always say something about working when we try to get them to travel to some province. well, i'm glad they give in sometimes. :3 adults are very complicated.

That's why one shouldn't get married early if he has nomadic tendencies. :P
